This fan art project was a real "labor of love" and challenge for me as an artist. I've always been a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and I think the franchise's stealth gameplay would translate well into a GPS mobile game.
Using the user's geo-location, players can sneak up on unsuspecting soldiers and capture them for the player's very own army. In addition to soldiers, supplies and resources can also be collected from the real world map.
If the player gets "spotted" by an enemy, a battle will ensue pitting the player's combat unit of iconic heroes (& villains) from Metal Gear against the enemy.
